My client, one of the largest specialist nonwoven producers in South Africa, is looking for a Production Manager for their Atlantis plant to make sure products are produced safely, cost-effectively and on time and that they meet the required quality standards. Specific responsibilities include: Oversee production processes and coordinating all production activities and operations. Manage ±50 staff members in 3 plants (review performance, motivate, train, discipline, etc.) Ensure efficiency through monitoring productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programmes. Obtain, maintain and interpret manufacturing and other statistics. Managing Bill of materials. Ensure clean and effective Administration and reporting. Ensure that health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures are followed at all times. You may be the successful candidate to join the Atlantis team to plan, coordinate and control manufacturing processes so that products are delivered on time and within budget if you: Have a relevant N6 Diploma or similar qualification from a reputable academic institution. Have 8+ years manufacturing / production experience. Have 3 + years manufacturing staff management experience Are, ideally, from the (non-woven) textile environment Are fully computer literate in MS office suite Have good leadership qualities.
