Production Blending Team Leader

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Main purpose of the Job: In order to meet production objectives from a quantity and quality perspective within the appropriate time scales and following the agreed standards, the Blending Team Leader must ensure that all aspects of Production processes as well as the shift team are effectively and efficiently supervised. Key Responsibilities: Production planning is accurate and in line with business objectives Timeous reporting of faults or maintenance required must be evident with a proactive stance The flow of products from Blending to the packaging department is streamlined with minimum bottlenecks evident Ensure all relevant orders are closed timeously and production reports are completed are as per management requirements Ensure that on-holds or rejected items are managed and minimised by ensuring the continuous quality standard are maintained Ensure that quality adherence documentation is completed in good time and with accuracy Meetings are conducted as required Employee performance and conduct issues are managed proactively - matters are reported to management or HR in need employees are adequately Housekeeping is done in line with standards Production planning and Health and Safety

Matric Preferably NQF5 or equivalent Experience in a similar role within an FMCG environment Minimum of 3 years experience within a manufacturing environment Minimum of 3 years experienced in a Supervisory role 12 hour shifts on rotation (the production staff work long hours, high pressured and high volume environment) Understanding of the production functions and processes Supervising Staff
