A completed Accounting Diploma / equivalent, coupled with 2-4 years related experience as a Production Accountant is essential.
KPA's include: policy and procedure manuals including internal control; processing of daily maize / wheat receipts; daily capturing of production figures (production sheet); daily capturing of production figures (SAP); transfer stock to export warehouse / depots; packing material including consignment stock; production close-off; stock take (physical count and capturing onto SAP); operational expenses - daily budget control, monthly reporting and annual budget process; manage petty cash, purchase order process and audits; ad hoc projects and tasks and housekeeping and filing.
