The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient administration within the print services division, contributing to the smooth operation of our print processes.The RequirementsMatric certificationA National Diploma or Degree in a related field would be advantageous.At least two years of experience in the publishing industry.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong administrative and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.High attention to detail.Advanced computer literacy.Ability to work effectively under pressure.The ResponsibilitiesManage WIP (Work in Progress) and ISBN records, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Maintain cost accuracy in the SYSPRO system, adjusting for discrepancies and managing stock variances.Coordinate print quotations by sending specifications to printers, analyzing cost comparisons, and processing invoices.
Ensure timely and accurate printer remittances and resolve any discrepancies.Oversee the creation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Review and follow up on POs with printers to ensure order completion.Generate and validate essential reports, including C and G forms, monthly, and annual WIP reports.
Maintain delivery schedules and communicate with stakeholders on expected delivery dates and potential delays.Monitor data accuracy within SYSPRO, manage WIP amortization for timely job closures, and handle customer returns, liaising with suppliers to resolve any issues.Process purchase orders according to specifications, ensuring accurate entry in SYSPRO.Review and sign off on all POs, ensuring proper documentation and receipt by printers.Maintain and distribute delivery schedules, monitor back-orders, and manage cash-flow reports.Oversee the SYSPRO system, ensuring accuracy in cost data and WIP amortization.Capture returned stock data, manage supplier communications, and ensure proper resolution of issues.Applications: Interested candidates should submit their CV and a cover letter detailing their interest in the position.If you have not been contacted within a 2 week period of the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.NB: In terms of meeting the company's goals with respect to Employment Equity, people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.Closing date: 7 February 2025Job Posting End Date:7-02-2025
