Duties and Responsibilities Customer Price Management - Conduct daily root cause analysis through SAP EDI rejection report - Interpret and identify the rejected product lines and implement the corrective action required to ensure the errors is cleared - Identify which of the rejections are due to customer error and which are due to I&J error & implement solutions to prevent reappearance of rejections - Ensure that all authorized deal pricing requests are obtained from the retail sales manager and that deals are created timeously in SAP - Print all deal sheets once deal has been created and attach back up documentation for auditing purposes - Communicate the deal number via email with a copy of the deal sheet attached to the relevant parties - Request release of deal from the appropriate managers - Check that the deal has been correctly released before the validity date starts in order to minimize pricing claims and potential loss of revenue General EDI Management - Liaise with Vector regarding processing on manual orders in the event of EDI downtime - Responsible for escalating EDI issues to the National Trade Marketing manager and regional team, that needs to be addressed at customer level - Meet performance targets to deliver against agreed objective, KPI’S and service levels, ensuring we maintain the highest level of serviceability with our customers - Maintain knowledge of industry standards and market intelligence regarding EDI management Customer Interaction - The position is responsible as the first point of phone/email contact for the Vector branches regarding non EDI related sales queries regarding pricing and stock availability Competencies - Working with People - Writing and Reporting - Applying Expertise and Technology - Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations - Achieving Personal Work Goals and Objectives Experience Required - 4 years’ customer service experience dealing with Pricing - Relevant experience in EDI Management Minimum Qualifications Required - Matric with Accounting / Mathematics - Basic Accounting Qualification Knowledge Required - SAP ERP experience - Microsoft Office
