In South Africa, the SKAO is collaborating with SARAO to operate and support the construction of the mid frequency telescope (SKA-Mid) in the remote Karoo region.The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for the development of operator procedures and documentation, as well as mentoring and training data analysts/operators under their supervision.We have two positions available.Key ResponsibilitiesManage performance of the data analyst/operator teamPlay a leading role in designing and documenting operating procedures for SKAOConduct, monitor, and calibrate astronomical observations and use appropriate computing resources towards the successful operation of the telescope arrayUndertake quality assurance of dataSupport communication between engineering and technical staff and scientific stakeholders
