Position: Preventative Maintenance SchedulerReporting to: Maintenance ManagerGeneral Job Description:The Maintenance PM Scheduler is required to do support functions for maintenance preventive maintenance, and all reasonable activities required to keep the plant operating at the maximum efficiency, Safety, and Quality.Role & Responsibilities: Ensuring maintenance PM system (E-Maintenance) is always updated.Organizing and stock keeping Audits of critical spare stores.Raise Purchasing requisitions and follow up.Managing and doing full Cost Savings on all purchases and sourcing of tools and parts.Verbal and Written Communication is key as multi-country sourcing methods will be used.Checks and recording other facilities and equipment (compressors, dryers, fire system etc.)
and substation data.Updating and managing of asset register on the maintenance PM system (E-Maint).Machine and equipment service/PM activities and the maintenance Documentations.Any reasonable task required.Maintenance Forms and check sheets issuing.All other relevant duties.May be required to work overtime.May be required to provide call-out / standby support.May be required to work during Shutdown Periods.May be required to sit in any of the committees (Safety, First Aid, Environmental etc).Education & Experience: National Diploma (Preference) in Electrical Engineering or Operations Qualification (advantageous).3-5 years experience in a Manufacturing/Maintenance department within the automotive industry.Computer Literacy (Excel, Word & PowerPoint essential) Intermediate Skill level.Purchasing/ Sourcing Skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with CMMS or any other Maintenance systems.Experience in Automated Manufacture Environment.Innovative Ideas and Planning.Appropriate Judgment and Decision Making.Prioritization of tasks.Strategy- Ability to think and act in a strategic way:Can lead & act consistent with the company's strategy and values.Able to demonstrate strategic problem solving, good decision making and sound judgement.Demonstrates sound business and technical acumen.Shows a high degree of intellectual rigor during problem solving.Talent-Ability to build and develop talent:Demonstrates ability to develop self and others.Shows evidence of continuous learning.Demonstrates performance leadership.Approach – Ability to demonstrate an effective approach to engagement and problem solving:Able to build trust and engage others.Can build or contribute to an inclusive team environment.Demonstrates strong interpersonal communications.Exhibits a strong professional presence.Results – Ability to achieve planned results:Demonstrates a strong customer focus through planning and actions.Acts with initiative and urgency.Shows the ability to be a change leader with adaptability and continuous improvement.Ability to hold oneself and others accountable for results.Demonstrates the ability to leverage all available resources to achieve results.Demonstrates the ability to leverage all available resources to achieve resultsJob PurposeJob Description Content for Job Profiles is a work in progress.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesJob Description Content for Job Profiles is a work in progress.
