Plumber | Overstrand | Plumbing Industry

We're seeking a skilled plumber to join our team in the Overstrand area.
In this role, you'll handle essential plumbing installations, conduct repairs, and ensure all plumbing systems operate smoothly as per call outs.
Position Info:
We are looking for someone with exceptional plumbing skills, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to helping customers.
We service the following areas: Rooi Els, Pringle Bay, Betty's Bay, and Kleinmond.
Responsibilities include working on both new builds and plumbing-related call outs and emergencies in these areas.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional work on Saturdays and Public Holidays as required, depending on call outs.
All applicants must have a valid driver's license and be experienced drivers.
Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters) in commercial and residential structures.
Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other professionals during construction.
Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, identifying and diagnosing problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
Keep accurate records of work performed, time spent, and materials used.
Adhere to all plumbing building codes and regulations.
Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows best practices.
Experience and Skills Required:

Matric qualification.
1-3 years of experience as a plumber.
Valid driver's license and experience as a driver.
Strong understanding of plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage.
Knowledge of local building plumbing codes and regulations.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing challenges.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Problem-solving abilities.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper piping.
Attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement conversions.
