Overview A great mining company in Rustenburg, North West is seeking the expertise of a Plant Manager (3.1a) to join their team of professionals.Responsibilities Effective operation of the plant as an effective business unit to an agreed business plan and process parametersDevelop a 2-5 years resource and mining strategy and coordinate ore and services to the plantResponsible for compilation and control of production, quality and cost budgetsCreating a high-performing team and a conducive employee relations climate – people management (HR and IR) in a unionized environmentEnsures adherence to legislative requirements and the company's Health and Safety StandardsFinancial Management (operational and capital cost budgets)Responsible for research and developmentMaintain a good relationship with the clients at host-mine and liaise on all relevant plant issues Requirements Grade 12Degree in Metallurgical / Chemical / Extraction MetallurgyPostgraduate Qualification (Advantageous)10 – 12 years' experience in a plant mining environmentMinimum 5 years at manager level Benefits Salary: R1.6M/yr – R1.8M/yr, negotiableOur client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experiencePaid Time Off
