Payroll Administrator
Area: Cape Town
The above position is vacant in our Cape Town branch.
You will be required to work closely with current Branch Managers and Operations, and report directly to the Payroll Managers.
Minimum Requirements

Matric certificate; SAP experience is an advantage
Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Numerical accuracy and methodical working approach
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to liaise professionally at all levels
Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines
Own transport is required

Key Performance Areas

Maintain neat and updated route files
Ensure daily updates of bookings and posting sheets
Resolve posting sheet queries within 48 hours or escalate
Attach unresolved queries to the front of files and resolve within 24 hours
Follow up on company numbers for bookings and escalate if not obtained within 24 hours
Mark 103's with a red line and include reasons, signed off by the manager
Attend to pay queries promptly and provide feedback with memo and payroll order number
Submit correction postings on valid sheets, marked accordingly
Perform daily courtesy calls to managers and site contacts
Submit time books for employees under your responsibility
Check back route files and ensure accurate pay rate calculations
Process relevant deductions such as third-party deductions, garnishee, and maintenance orders
Process all leave and ensure posting sheets are checked daily
Address all pay-related queries immediately
