Our client with a national footprint is looking for a suitable candidate:
Formal Education:
Degree or Diploma in payroll administration or an equivalent certificate
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in payroll administration
Knowledge:
Labour legislation impacting payroll
Payroll calculations
SARS requirements, including tax directives
PaySpace experience is advantageous
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Duties:
Payroll Processing:
Process monthly payroll transactions (appointments, increases, terminations, transfers, contributions, deductions, etc.)
Ensure payroll information accuracy before processing
Process adjustments and reconcile salary, tax, medical aid, and provident fund payments
Generate employee IRP5s and payslips
Manage payroll-related reports and documentation
Handle invoice loading and payment requisitions
Register companies with relevant authorities and submit declarations (EMP201, EMP501, UIF, etc.)
Maintain records and support audits
Administer payroll system controls and access
Supporting Tasks:
Assist HR with payroll processes and queries
Coordinate with authorities and auditors
Handle staff-related payroll inquiries
Calculate maternity leave salaries
Administer medical aid and provident fund portals
Liaise with PaySpace consultants
Communication and Teamwork:
Effective communication across all levels
Ability to work effectively within a team
