Job & Company Description
The successful candidate should have in-depth knowledge of statutory and discretionary payroll deductions and PAYE calculations and be able to manage significant payroll with high volumes of salary input.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Minimum qualification: matric
5 years’ experience within payroll
Sage People will be highly advantageous
In-depth knowledge of statutory and discretionary payroll deductions and PAYE calculations
Able to manage significant payroll, with high volumes of salary input
Must posses’ excellent inter-personal skills and be able to maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with staff, management and external parties
Capability to operate under pressure
Methodical and organized approach to their daily work tasks
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
Have the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively and consultatively within a team environment
Understand the payroll legislation and processes
