Outgoing, independent staff is needed to assist with the supervision, coordination, and provision of park and facility maintenance.

Position is May through September, 15 - 30 hours per week.Essential Position FunctionsProvide on-site work direction to seasonal maintenance staff involved with: park, athletic field and facility maintenance, tournaments, reservations, special eventsMake contact with on-site facility users, athletic tournament directors and special event managers to coordinate schedules and ensure maintenance and service needs are being metEnsure safety protocols are being followed by staff and usersAssist with training and orientation of seasonal staffRespond to inquiries and concerns related to facilitiesAbility to work independentlyAssist other staff as assignedOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications18 years of age or olderPossess a valid driver's license and pass a background check2 seasons of hands-on experience with park, athletic field and/or facility maintenanceThings that may help you be successful in this roleYou Might Be a Good Fit If You HaveDegree or course work leading to a degree or equivalent in Parks and Recreation or a related fieldExperience with park, athletic and/or facility maintenance that includes decision makingCustomer service experience that includes conflict resolutionWork Environment90% outside, 10% inside.
Employee is required to work outdoors on uneven ground, while carrying heavy loads or performing maintenance tasks, in all weather conditions experienced in Eagan during the months of May through September.
