A dynamic company based in Johannesburg North is looking for an Orthopaedic Sales Executive
Duties:
To call on Pretoria / Johannesburg Will be given a lot of support and training To provide marketing and sales of company product portfolios through effective management of sales territory and defining sales and marketing strategies into company goals Visiting of state and private hospitals Detailing the company products to Orthopedic Specialist, Healthcare Professionals, Supportive Care staff, Private and State Hospitals for attainment of set sales targets Reporting of product related adverse events Detailed weekly reports to local management Individual customer potential analysis and development plans Competitor and market analysis Customer relationship management Key opinion leader identification and development Provide support services to all allocated customers in assigned geographical areas Ensure that a proper product mix is sold to all customers Sell to / inform the customer of other related products to increase the sales Keep well informed of customers tendering / quote systems and monitor them to ensure no missed opportunities
Requirements:
No tattoos / piercings Must be very well groomed and presented Must be very disciplined, target driven and passionate about their work Own vehicle and valid drivers license Qualified Nurse / relevant Medical qualification (Orthopedics would be an advantage) Surgical care experience / knowledge is required (Orthopedics would be an advantage) Previous Orthopedic Sales experience of a least five years Human movement Science / Health Sciences degree (essential) Excellent product theoretical, as well as practical knowledge Surgical Case coverage Current registration with CRICE / SAMED Strongly self-motivated individual with initiative and creative thinking / doing skills Neatly groomed and well presented Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and persuasive selling skills (English and Second language) Excellent planning and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure Assertive sales style with a focus on problem solving Good interpersonal skills and self-motivated with a demonstration of initiative Ability to work independently as well as in a team Up to date knowledge and understanding of the medical / healthcare industry Computer Literacy: Computer literacy in MS Office (Excel spreadsheets / Word documents / Power Point presentations / E-mail account management) Technology literacy knowledge of operating and using devices (e.g GPS / Smart phone / 3G devices / laptop computer)
