Oracle Developer - Contract Role

Key Responsibilities: Database Development & Maintenance: Develop, optimize, and maintain Oracle stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Write efficient PL/SQL code for application development and system integration.
Ensure database integrity, security, and performance.
System Enhancements & Support: Maintain and enhance the existing Oracle-based payments system.
Implement new business requirements and system updates.
Debug and resolve database and performance issues.
Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Document technical specifications, database structures, and system processes.
Transition & Migration Support: Assist in the long-term migration strategy as the organization transitions away from Oracle.
Provide insights and recommendations on modernizing database and data management practices.
Role Requirements: Proven experience in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions Database tuning and performance optimization Data modeling and relational database design Experience with database migration strategies is a plus.
Familiarity with banking/payments systems is beneficial but not mandatory.
Ability to hit the ground running and quickly adapt to the existing system and team dynamics.
Hybrid working model: 2 days onsite, remainder remote.
