It is your responsibility to provide proper operator training to the prospective operators and to ensure that proper training material is available for their future reference.OVER INSPECTIONAn over inspection will be conducted on request from the mine's management to identify and rectify bad operating habits.REPORTINGAll reports must be submitted every week to the Training Coordinator.
Provide the Training Coordinator with a weekly report summarizing the training completed for the week and the future training plan.COURTESY CALLSOne of the most important parts of the business is the relationship with the customer.
To ensure an ongoing relationship, it is important for the trainer to get to the mines and identify any needs that may arise and also get information from the customer on any new developments or requirements.MARKETING STRATEGYMarketing is not directly a service function, but due to the contact between the customer and the service personnel, the following functions have been identified as forming part of the function of the trainer: Identify the existing customer base and increase efforts and service level as well as identify key role players and their requirements.
If the relationship is good enough, this will include market intelligence such as movement of key role-players in and out of the mine, replacement of machines that is due, requirement for spare parts, etc.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree or higher in Mining Engineering, Education, or a related field will be an advantage.5+ years of experience in the operation and maintenance of underground mining equipment, with a focus on safety and productivity.Experience developing and delivering training materials in a classroom and field setting.Knowledge of adult learning principles and current training best practices.Train the trainer qualification.Driver's License.Advanced Computer skills.Passing Mine Medical Inductions is a requirement.Government Certificate of Competency in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.Between 5 - 7 Years.
