Operations Manager

Job Description Our client has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual to join our team.
The Operations Manager oversees the delivery of the SIT Programme in the Western Cape and is the regional manager for the Citursdal, De Doorns and Kakamas offices.
·          SIT Programme Implementation ·          Grower and agent interaction and relationship development.
·          Oversee and communication regarding Grower accounts and invoicing ·          Oversee the effective management of all stock.
·          Attain satisfactory field performance rates (ratios, wild moth catches, fruit infestation levels).
·          Budget management for all branches.
·          Delivering SIT service with excellence, meeting CRM expectations.
·          Fleet and operational oversight and management ·          5S Systems implementation and managing operational costs and control.
·          Intercompany support ·          Staff Management – Staff motivation, Training and Development, Performance Management, Disciplinary oversight and Health and Safety ·          Managing data monitoring systems ·          Take responsibility for implementing and driving key projects ·          Manage/oversee all administrative and financial aspects of the WC region including annual budgeting for related infrastructure, equipment, consumables, and personnel.
Requirements ·          Grade 12 ·          National higher diploma or degree in Agricultural and/or Management ·          Computer literacy – Microsoft Office, Google Earth ·          Valid Drivers' license ·          AVCASA will receive preference ·          Min of 5 years' experience in an operational management role.
·          Experience in Agriculture will be advantageous.
·          This position requires a lot of traveling, candidate must be willing and able to travel.
