IntroductionA financial services & funding capital company based in Cape Town is looking for an Operations AssociatePurpose of the RoleThe role of Operations Associate is responsible for providing the required finance and administrative support to the Access Team to enable better service delivery of the team.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate the financial administration processes and rhythms for the Access teamSupport annual budget, audit, tax and reporting processesUpdate and reconcile monthly cash flow statementsConduct monthly invoicing and payments processLoad monthly payments on bank and present for authorisationManage FICA requirements on bank accountsConduct verifications for paymentsEnsure all documents are timeously collected for the payment processesCoordinate the stakeholder relations, reporting and communications for the teamLiaise with stakeholders via email, phone, meetingsProvide support to Access operations management team meetingsProvide administrative support to Access operations managementCoordinate professional stakeholder communications (written and verbal)Draft and issue periodic communications and reportsCo-ordinate stakeholder meetings and conferencesManage Access and Manco procurement and supplier contractingDraft and review supplier contractsConduct supplier service performance reviewsManage supplier paymentsDrafting of Board and AGM Minutes every 2nd quarterManage the process for CIPC submissions and Board Composition changesAdminister legal and regulatory compliance for Access.Administer annual Access compliance rhythms.Support compliance reporting and communications.Coordinate signing and storage of legal agreements and other documents.Inform the business of the impact of new regulationsMinimum experience & qualifications requiredBachelor Degree in Finance or AccountingRelevant post-graduate qualification advantageous1-3 years experience in finance and administration in a complex projects management environment or business consulting environment.Behavioural skills requiredOperational ExcellenceChange AgileEmotional IntelligenceCommunicates with ImpactProblem SolverOperations ManagementClient Relationship ManagementFinancial AdministrationLegal and Compliance ManagementProcurement ManagementProject ManagementReporting
