Introduction
A financial services & funding capital company based in Cape Town is looking for an Operations Associate

Purpose of the Role
The role of Operations Associate is responsible for providing the required finance and administrative support to the Access Team to enable better service delivery of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the financial administration processes and rhythms for the Access team
Support annual budget, audit, tax and reporting processes
Update and reconcile monthly cash flow statements
Conduct monthly invoicing and payments process
Load monthly payments on bank and present for authorisation
Manage FICA requirements on bank accounts
Conduct verifications for payments
Ensure all documents are timeously collected for the payment processes
Coordinate the stakeholder relations, reporting and communications for the team
Liaise with stakeholders via email, phone, meetings
Provide support to Access operations management team meetings
Provide administrative support to Access operations management
Coordinate professional stakeholder communications (written and verbal)
Draft and issue periodic communications and reports
Co-ordinate stakeholder meetings and conferences
Manage Access and Manco procurement and supplier contracting
Draft and review supplier contracts
Conduct supplier service performance reviews
Manage supplier payments
Drafting of Board and AGM Minutes every 2nd quarter
Manage the process for CIPC submissions and Board Composition changes
Administer legal and regulatory compliance for Access.
Administer annual Access compliance rhythms.
Support compliance reporting and communications.
Coordinate signing and storage of legal agreements and other documents.
Inform the business of the impact of new regulations

Minimum experience & qualifications required
Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
Relevant post-graduate qualification advantageous
1-3 years’ experience in finance and administration in a complex projects management environment or business consulting environment.
