Together with our clients based in Devon, we are looking for an Operations administrator in the food manufacturing/operational (FMCG) environment. The ideal candidate must reside in the Springs, Nigel or Heidelberg areas and must have a minimum of 2 years administrative experience. The candidate will be responsible for the administration of the Maintenance and Safety department that include generation of Job Cards, admin of the Job Card system, obtaining quotations and generating orders, Prn and shipments that balance back to the GL accounts within budget - ensure availability of critical spares identified in the mill, Meeting minutes and follow up conducted as protocol. Environmental Management that include training, communication, audits, reporting and continuous improvement. Administration of all OHS operations on site. Assisting GM with administration. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Assist the Working Foreman and Management to compile Budget. · Ensure expenses are controlled and allocated correctly. 5% below budget · Control over the stock Issue and Receivings to ensure traceability and allocation of all spares / tools used accurate recording on the job card system. · Ensure all Preventative Maintenance Job Cards are issued to the Maintenance staff. Job Cards register and schedule to be updated daily and submitted to the Maintenance Staff for planning · Verifying and recording the downtime, Maintenance and Power Supply reports, compiling trend and records for the Maintenance Department · Accurate minutes with clear actions required and follow up before and on target dates Feedback to GM · Implement and maintain an effective Environmental Management system (ISO 14001:2004) within the mill to ensure compliance within all departments at all times. · Filing and document management Required skills and qualifications: · Administration diploma · Minute Taking Training/ Experience will be advantageous · Excel training / Basic knowledge · Technical background will be an advantageous (spares and equipment knowledge) · At least 2 years administration experience Required behaviours: · Analytical and structured thinking · Positive attitude and assertive · Problem solving · Deadline driven and self-motivated · Attention to detail · Communication and Teamwork · Must be able to follow policies and procedures consistently · Organisational skills
