Job Description
This role is individually accountable for achieving results through others, over periods of 3 months to a year.
The focus is the following: execution of the business plan and for governance and compliance at an operational level, preparation of management reports, provision of interpretation of financial data and predictive results, implementation of accounting processes, systems and controls for a product and is responsible for product profitability analysis.The focus is the following: execution of the business plan and partnering with the business to execute the strategy, preparation of management reports, provision and interpretation of financial data and predictive results, financial modelling and product profitability analysis

Key Result Areas
Supports the execution of the business plan and strategy at an operational level

Preparation of management reports/packs, provision of interpretation of financial data and predictive results

Emphasis of the role is on interpretation and predictive results.

Responsible for product profitability analysis

Develops, reports on and interprets cost drivers, KPIs and benchmarks.
Provides commentary on financial results and implications and advises on corrective action to be taken.

Interacts with business unit line managers on financial outcomes, expense trends

On a monthly basis assess business performance against budget/forecasts and guide business in implementing appropriate initiatives to meet budgets

Business partnering; provide link between business and finance areas including financial modelling to support feasibility studies / business cases

Guide and support the business areas with product costing and pricing for input into SLA’s

Minimum Requirements
CA (SA)

Financial / Management accountant background

Minimum 3 years’ post qualifying experience

Financial services experience will be advantageous
