Our client, an agricultural consultancy situated in Somerset West area, is looking for an Office Manager to start working as soon as possible.Position Description:The Office Manager fulfills a central operational role and is responsible for the efficient functioning of the office.The candidate acts as a seamless connection between all the staff and will work closely with all the team members.This role requires attention to detail, great organization and prioritization skills, and the ability to plan ahead.A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with colleagues and clients are important.The candidate will be comfortable in a goal-focused and changing environment, while maintaining flexibility and composure.The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, possess the ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal guidance, and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.Basic Requirements: Organised and neat.The ability to multitask and prioritise.Computer literate.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Willingness to learn.Creative problem-solving skills.Strong work ethic, reliable, with a sense of responsibility and confidentiality.A tertiary academic qualification would be beneficial.Experience in a similar role would be beneficial.Duties include but are not limited to:Front office and staff support:Administrative support to all staffManaging the professional registrations and memberships of staff.Scheduling of calendars.General errands.Travel bookings.Communicating with clients and suppliers via email and phone.Repairing legal, administrative, and financial documents.Scheduling of meetings.Keeping office maintenance up to date.Buying supplies for the office.Organizing and booking of events (for social and staff training purposes).Marketing and Social Media:Managing the companys branding and marketing portfolio.Posting weekly social media updates.Updating of the website and company profile.Connecting with outside suppliers.Sourcing quotes and ordering of stock.Organising promotional events.Keeping up to date with all available advertising platforms.Human Resources:Coordination of staff leave schedules and payroll software.Arranging intern programs.Managing the companys career inquiries.Connecting with potential employees and recruitment networks.Facilitating key performance assessments.Salary offered: R12 000 - R15 000 per month negotiable.Starting date: As soon as possible.Please forward your CV to us if you meet the above-mentioned requirements.Please assume that your application was unsuccessful If you have not been contacted within 4 weeks from the date of this advertisement.
