As an OHNP, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the health of our workforce, enabling them to remain active and productive. Your responsibilities will span across various sites of the healthcare group, where you will provide comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety support. Work closely with SHE Managers, HR and Group COID Administrator to coordinate and manage occupationally acquired diseases and/or work-related injuries.Qualifications & experience:General Nursing DiplomaDiploma in Occupational Health Nursing and registered with SANCRegistered with SASOHN would be advantage2yrs+ experience in Occupational Health nursingExcellent understanding of relevant legislations applicable to OHS and Risk ManagementCertificates: Audiometry, Spirometry and DispensingComputer proficientKey responsibilities: (not limited to)Medical surveillanceEmployee wellbeingEmergency medical care when needed and managing occupational injuries and diseasesRevise the Occupational Health programme annually with the OHC Coordinator and HER managerParticipate in Occupational Health self-assessments, Quality reviews and/or external certification auditsReview of Site-specific health risk assessmentsCo-ordinate radiation medicals and assist with over exposure incidents Knowledge & Ability to:Work well under pressure and to maintain stable work performance in changing conditionsDevelop using collaborative relationships to help accomplish work goalsIdentify and understand issues, problems and opportunities in order to take appropriate action / to resolve problemsProduce work of a high-quality standard by accurately checking processes and tasksSet high standards of performance for self and others, assuming the overall responsibility and accountability for the successful completion of tasks.
