Qualification and Experience
Minimum two years managerial experience;
A proven track record in meeting objectives and targets in an operational environment;
Experience in motor claims, motor assessing or panelbeating is essential;
Leadership, management and / or insurance related studies completed or still in progress will be beneficial.

The Motor Audit Team Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing a team of motor / panelbeater auditors within the OUTsurance Procurement team. The motor audit team is responsible for conducting audits on panelbeaters to ensure that OUTsurance’s high standards are met in terms of the quality of repair and workmanship. The function also contributes to mitigating the risk of increased claims cost due to poor performance of service providers.
Considering the scope and importance of the audit function, the team manager must have a strong ability to lead people, have excellent analytical skills and be able to flourish as part of a high performance team. Technical panelbeating and insurance experience will be beneficial. The role is perfect for an individual with the ability to combine technical experience, data skills, leadership ability and attention to detail to deliver on the team’s shared goals.
Assume full managerial and leadership responsibility for a team of professional motor auditors;
Full responsibility for team development and performance;
Monitoring of team performance and implementing improvements or taking corrective action where required;
Extensive engagement with service providers and internal stakeholders;
Work allocation and daily management of team;
Review and modification of audit reports to be distributed externally;
Review and improvement of audit processes and controls;
Responsibility for the team’s data requirements;
Maintain a high level of professionalism in interacting with staff, clients (internal/external) other parties and insurance companies and be client service orientated
