MAIN PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB To lead the Maintenance Team and ensure equipment is in good working order and that preventative maintenance is carried out to prevent breakdowns, mechanical and electrical and that equipment is performing at its optimum levels.OUTPUTS WITH APPROPRIATE STANDARDSOUTPUTS 1.
Manages repairs and maintenanceQUALITY REQUIREMENTS (STANDARDS)o Sourcing correct maintenance spareso Arranging with subcontractors to perform certain tasks on equipment that is still under warranty or require special repairso Ensure that routine and preventative maintenance is carried out on all equipmento Ensure that routine and preventative maintenance is carried out on buildings and auxiliary serviceso Ensuring that PMP schedules are followed as per frequencieso Ensure that PMP schedules are completed and handed back for filingo Ensure that all maintenance is carried out bearing in mind operator safetyo Ensure equipment and facility conforms with all food safety policy and procedures and the OHS acto Testing equipment before handing back to operators.2.
Checks stock controls(stock control) o Ensure that critical spares are available in the storeo Ensure that correct spares and parts are boughto Ensure that spares and parts are fitted correctly.3.
Manages job cardso Ensure job card system is operationalo Following up on each job card to ensure sign off and troubleshooting if not signedo Updating the job card schedule for workshop records4.
Repairs and maintains Juice Dispensers o Testing equipment to ensure it is clean and repaired according to standardo Signing off on completed maintenance worko Returning unsatisfactory jobs to the relevant workshop team member for troubleshooting5.
Attends to call outs after hours o By taking team leaders callso Establish breakdown or purpose for callouto Repair breakdown and test before leaving the premisses6.
Coordinates workshop housekeeping o Communicating the housekeeping schedule to the relevant teamso Monitoring housekeeping by completing onsite checks and proving feedback to responsible teams accordingly.7.
Leading a Workshop Teamo Managing resource allocationo Assigning tasks and projects to team members or external services providers and reviewing progress as appropriateo Assisting team members with daily planningo Assisting in training of team members when it comes to new company processes, policies or equipmento Participating in knowledge-sharing and problem solving one on one session with team members as requiredo Identifying training opportunities for team members and learners as well as suitable training providers to meet training needso Listening effectively and encouraging the open expression of ideas and opinions within the Workshop Team.8.

Report any unsafe condition or act.Flexibility You are expected to execute ad hoc duties and follow reasonable instruction given.JOB REQUIREMENTSTraining:o On-the-job trainingo Training also received from the machine providers.Working Hours:o Required to work 45 hours a week, which is 5 days and a half a week.o Due to operational requirements & the nature of the business, you will be required to work overtime from time to time.Skills and Competencies:o Ability to work on ones feeto Mechanical abilities
