Merchandiser/ Product Developer

5+ years related experience Requirements Design related diploma/ degree or proven experience in a similar role. Experience with Luggage and/or bags would be highly advantageous. (Not compulsory) Technical. High attention to detail. Creative Flair. Experience/understanding of the development, merchandise/production process. Experience with International Imports Experience with design software and graphics editing software Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop Ability to work well within a team Time management skills. Problem solving skills Responsibilities Technical CAD Drawings of Product and Components Development & Management of product with overseas factories. (pre-production samples through to production within company policy and procedures) Liaising and negotiating with overseas factories with regards to product, price, quality and delivery Developing and sourcing of new products Researching local and international trends Keeping up to date with Technologies within the Luggage/Bag industry
