A well-established Clothing Manufacturer is seeking an experienced Merchandiser, who can take responsibility for dealing with and servicing clients, as well as managing a portfolio and/or team.MAIN FUNCTION:Be the lead point of contact for the relevant customer Maintain and build strong relationships with the customer Provide clear communication with the customerBeing solution driven delivering ideas or solutions to the customer to assist them in growing their business ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPre-SalesManage the Critical path Ensure Sales and profitability targets are met or exceeded Work with the internal Design team during Design Brief stageAttend Brief meetings at customer, then hold and manage Internal de-brief meetingsQuoting styles to customerSalesTracking and managing available capacityQuoting and negotiating PriceHold and attend all internal pre-production meetings when new styles are confirmedAdministrationHold and manage internal weekly standstillsAttend weekly/bi-weekly standstills with buyer and plannerDealing with Production and operational queriesRequirements & qualities:Minimum 8 years experience in Merchandising roleMerchandising management experience beneficialMarketing & Sales-Orientated ability essentialGood negotiator and strong management skillsWell-presented and highly motivatedDrivers Licence a necessityRemuneration:Market-related based on experience and expertise.Interested candidates must submit their CVs, with references, by Friday 23 August 2019.
