Medical Technologist / Lab Technician 4 Month Contract

A very well known pathology diagnostic firm is seeking experienced and qualified candidates to join them on a 4-month contract in Polokwane, should be able to start immediately.  Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic analysis of patient specimens Drive health and safety compliance in the lab Preventative maintenance  Testing  Troubleshooting QC logs  Conduct data checks CPD presentations Sample prep for examination Drive data accuracy Non-negotiables:  HPCSA registration - Medical Technologist (Microbiology or Clinical pathology with extended experience in Microbiology) National diploma / degree 0 - 3 years'  experience - sampling and analysis of blood, body fluid and tissue Must know how to use special instruments Excellent English communication - written and verbal Problem solver Analytical Time management  Detail orientated  Great interpretation skills and evaluation skills  Computer literate Reference checks will be conducted upfront
