Medical Practice Manager (with billing experience), RustenburgOur client, a specialist Neurosurgeon, based in Rustenburg, is seeking to recruit a Practice Manager to attend to the key responsibilities of the practice being patient experience, communication with medical aid billings and staff management.Responsibilities:Greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional mannerObtaining authorizations from medical aids for proceduresMotivation lettersStrong knowledge of ICD10 codingInvoicing and medical aid submissionsProcessing claims timeously and following up on short payments and rejections and attending to patient liable accountsAttending to collections and maintaining a healthy debtors bookLiaison with Accountant and key stakeholders, including hospital staffOversee reception staffQualification and requirements:MatricAt least 5 years experience in a surgical practiceKnowledge of Neurosurgical coding is an advantageExcellent verbal and written English language skillsVeriClaim experience is an advantageSkills and Attributes:Ability to work independently and unsupervisedStrong interpersonal skills and organizational skillsHardworking and reliableGood attention to detail and the processing of accurate informationWorking Hours:Monday to Friday 8h00 - 17h00Telephonic standby when doctor is on callOvertime as required.Appointment:ASAPOnly candidates who meet all the minimum requirements stipulated in the advert, will be considered.
