Materials Planner

My client is an agricultural company based in Northern Pretoria. The successful candidate must stay within a 30km radius of the site. Job Description My client is looking for a Materials Planner, the purpose of which is to execute daily Materials Plans schedules/plan for all production units as well as capacity planning. You will be responsible to ensure master data is updated daily and to monitor variances in forecasts daily. You will be responsible for the following: Understand and optimize supply chain and systems Understand internal and external factors which impact on the demand and ensure these are reflected in forecast Identify challenges trends and opportunities Participate and influence department strategy Monitor and track against the plan Build and develop effective relationship with relevant stakeholders Contribute to delivering strategic plans with suppliers Conduct stock build plans and considering capacity raw materials Track and manage plans and escalate shorts Qualifications Matric Bcom Supply Chain Management or Equivalent Skills 3 years experience in the same role Food Industry background Salary / Package R250k Email this Job Link to a Friend Complete the form and we will drop your friend a quick email.
