Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Marketing, Business, or related field In-depth knowledge of the South African agricultural sector, specifically in crop protection, seed care, and general on-farm practices Extensive experience with Maize and Soybean crops is essential Product knowledge in herbicides would be preferred, with additional exposure to fungicides and biological solutions considered advantageous Experience in marketing, sales, or technical roles within crop protection or related sectors is essential The successful candidate will be responsible for: Developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives and product life-cycle stages. Designing and coordinating campaign execution across traditional marketing channels, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies. Translating product offerings into compelling customer-centric value propositions. Conducting monthly tracking and reporting on portfolio performance versus budget and prior year results. Analyzing campaign performance and market trends to inform future strategies. Managing campaign budgets effectively to maximize ROI. Ensuring regulatory compliance in all marketing activities. Collaborating closely with the digital marketing lead to ensure integrated, omni-channel campaign approaches. Fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive integrated solutions and campaign success.
