Join to apply for the Marketing Manager South Africa (MedTech) role at Align Technology.DescriptionAs Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing plan for South Africa in line with company strategy to achieve set objectives.Department: MarketingLocation: EMEA-South AfricaResponsibilities:Translate and execute regional marketing plans locally, driving brand awareness, doctor sign-up, and growth within OPEX budget.Develop strategies as part of the Annual Operational Plan.Localize campaigns, sales, and educational materials.Develop local evidence through publications and speakers.Organize local congresses and exhibitions.Implement media planning, including digital channels.Manage OPEX budgets and pricing & campaign strategies.Collaborate with sales management for quarterly tactics.Provide insights and analytics for new product and global strategy development.Build and maintain relationships with KOLs and key customers.Develop market insights and analytics for successful plan execution.Lead communication efforts within a multidisciplinary team.Identify and pursue local growth opportunities.Coordinate with sales and finance teams to support business growth.Work cross-functionally with regional and local marketing teams.Train and educate stakeholders on brand strategies.Utilize digital platforms for plan delivery.Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseBachelor's degree or higher in marketing or business management.Proficiency in English.Minimum 6 years' relevant experience in marketing, especially brand & performance marketing and/or product management.Industry background in medical devices, preferably with consumer/patient-sensitive products.Sales experience in medical devices is preferred.Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strategic thinking, highly organized, action-oriented, proactive.Ability to solve problems with minimal guidance.Results-oriented with strong time management skills.Competent in using relevant tools (Excel, internal tools).Ability to lead and collaborate across functions.Additional InformationReview our Applicant Privacy Policy.At Align, we value diversity and are committed to an inclusive workforce.Align Technology is an equal opportunity employer, providing opportunities regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or other protected categories.Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Marketing and SalesIndustry: Medical Equipment Manufacturing
