The purpose of this role is to ensure the ownership of the end-to-end development, integration, and rollout of campaigns to encourage adoption, activation/conversion, and creation of brand advocates, as well as the optimisation of all marketing programs within Southern Africa that ultimately result in returns on marketing investments.Key AccountabilitiesDevelopment and implementation of Marketing campaign strategy for all lines of business, regions, and territories.Harness Industry analysis.Relationship management of internal and external stakeholders.Allocate resources for full campaign management.Identify new digital and traditional marketing opportunities to grow market share from existing machine and aftermarket customers.Offline and online channel management (digital and traditional).Supervision of marketing campaign execution.Manage service providers.Approve and edit copy and creative.Ensure brand compliance and consistency.Ensure optimised group digital presence in line with lead generation and brand strategies aligned to business objectives.Ensure the planning, implementation, and measurement of all marketing initiatives to realise ROMI.Accountable for the management of the brand for Barloworld Equipment.Execute on digital marketing strategy which results in conversions.Budget management.Tracking and reporting of campaign performances to Barloworld Equipment and Caterpillar.Collaborate with all stakeholders.Own the end-to-end briefing process.Primary OutputsContinuously track campaigns and adopt an agile method to resolve what is not working.Responsible for meeting all the set deadlines and go live dates.Establish good relationships with the Caterpillar marketing team.Track and manage team activities and spend aligned to the set budget.Establish good relationship with service providers and hold them accountable for deliverables.Ensure that information/insights received from the Customer Solutions Centre on campaigns are analysed and shared with internal stakeholders (management) and agencies when received.Pro-actively engage business on activities aligned to set yearly calendar so they can brief ahead of time.Create project plans for all activities (campaigns and events).Ensure that the correct adoption of the communication process before going to market.Pro-actively set up reporting sessions with Lines of Business and Caterpillar respectively to give and receive feedback and insights for current and future campaigns.Actively support the Campaigns team on deliverables.Monitor and encourage team progress and development.Develop innovative ways to enhance internal processes and better communicate with our customers.Qualification, Experience and Competencies MinimumMinimum Required Qualification:Relevant B Degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Marketing Management from a recognised Institution.Minimum Required Experience:No less than five years in Marketing.Three years in a marketing communications execution role.Three years people management experience.Minimum Required Competencies:Translating product and business needs into actionable marketing and communications objectives.Copy writing skills.Ability to analyse data and create insights.Ability to utilise CRM tools to analyse, track, and enhance digital marketing initiatives i.e., marketing automation.Ability to edit and proofread.Ability to optimally manage agency relationships.Ability to motivate and develop a team.Experience working with different levels of management across a very complex multi-country business required.
