This position is responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, MailChimp, and Pardot to streamline workflows and maximize the efficiency of marketing campaigns.
The specialist ensures that automation tools are leveraged to improve lead generation, nurturing, and campaign performance.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CRM tools, automation platforms, and campaign management.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESImplement and manage marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, and MailChimp to streamline marketing workflows and enhance campaign performance.Develop, execute, and optimize automated marketing campaigns, including email marketing, lead nurturing, and drip campaigns, to drive engagement and conversions.Work with CRM tools to create effective lead segmentation strategies, ensuring that leads are accurately tracked, scored, and nurtured through the marketing funnel.Design and implement automated workflows to support marketing efforts, including customer journey mapping, trigger-based marketing, and personalized communication strategies.Collaborate with content, design, and sales teams to ensure that marketing automation aligns with broader marketing strategies, improving lead generation, customer retention, and campaign ROI.Use data analytics and reporting tools to track the performance of marketing campaigns.
Provide regular reports on key metrics such as email open rates, click-through rates, lead conversion, and campaign ROI.Conduct A/B testing to optimize automated campaigns for better engagement and conversion rates.
Continuously analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.Ensure that all marketing automation activities comply with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and POPIA, particularly regarding the handling of customer data and opt-in/opt-out policies.Stay up to date on the latest marketing automation trends and platform updates.
Ensure that automation tools are properly maintained and upgraded as necessary.TIME RECORDING:Accurately record client billable time and value of service when working on client projects, handle pricing, invoicing and collection of outstanding fees for the portfolio of clients.Monitor own productivity and client billing and review productivity and performance against targets to ensure that individual financial targets and client communication KPIs are met.Follow a disciplined approach to submitting timesheets for client work and meet the financial individual and team targets.CANDIDATE PROFILEBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in marketing automation, CRM management, and digital marketing campaign management.Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, MailChimp) and CRM platforms.Experience in creating and optimizing automated workflows, lead nurturing campaigns, and marketing funnels.Proven experience working with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, MailChimp, and Pardot.
Strong understanding of how to design and optimize automated marketing workflows.Proficiency in CRM tools and lead management, with the ability to create and manage segmented contact lists, track lead activity, and score leads based on behavior and engagement.Experience designing, launching, and optimizing email and digital marketing campaigns, with a focus on improving conversion rates and overall campaign performance.Strong data analysis skills, with experience using reporting tools to track the success of marketing automation efforts and adjust strategies based on performance data.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including content, design, and sales teams, to ensure marketing automation efforts are integrated and aligned with broader goals.Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and POPIA, with the ability to ensure that all marketing automation practices are compliant.
