We have served the global diagnostics industry for over 50 years, and due to our continued growth, we are seeking 2 x Manufacturing Operator (Agency Worker) to join our team.
This is a temporary position based at our facility in Cape Town.

Role Overview
As a Manufacturing Operator (Agency Worker), you must follow rigid procedures in the manufacturing process.
Record information related to manufacturing formulae, yields, progress, and process times.
Ensure the manufacturing equipment is cared for and maintained.
Report all damage or defects.
Keep the production area clean, neat, and tidy, free from any debris in compliance with GMP.

Role Requirements
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Role Specific: Follow working instructions to operate any related equipment for the particular processComplete batch records, as per process in a 100% accurate & timely fashionClean equipment and work area as per cleaning procedures & to GMP standardsRequisitions of goods from the storesOn time in full delivery (OTIF) to internal customersCapture hours spent on process into ERP SoftwareReport any discrepancies in hours worked on process or non-conformances to the Team LeaderInterpretation of Data & completion of a log-book.Produce batches to full capacity; process & equipment dependentAble to lift 25 kg bags using the correct lifting technique or two-person lift.Forklift Driving if fully trained and in possession of a valid Forklift licenceComplete training assessments, file and maintain training recordsAble to read & write in English and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.Able to use a calculator – basic mathematicsAbility to multi-task, plan your daily work and follow up on issues.Ability to make decisions rapidly when requiredAbility to multi-skill and multi-taskAble to work extended hours and night shifts where requiredReliable and self-drivenGood verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailTeam worker Qualification and Experience
Matric with Mathematics & Science or at least 2 years' experience working in a manufacturing facility.
