Coordinate the purchasing of stockCo-ordinating the purchasing of all stock for the businessSupply/Operations ManagementEnsuring that only approved suppliers are utilizedIdentifying, acquiring, and managing resources and suppliers that are essential to the operations of the OrganizationResponsible for Cost control, the efficient allocation of resources, risk management, and the effective gathering of information for business decisions.Stock Level controlEnsuring that predetermined stock level is not exceededStock ManagementMinimize stock outsMonitoring and managing purchase restrictions in the system to control buyingDrawing up and maintaining a store map in accordance with the standards laid out in the manualMaintaining and updating the Inventory Management Manual and ensuring staff are informed and have easy access to it.Control dead and surplus stockEnsuring stock file integrity by investigating and correcting all stock anomaliesControlling and rectifying negative stocksManage Stock Control function, GRN function, Receiving and ProcurementCoordinate and monitor productionCoordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in production, warehousing, pricing and distribution of goods. Monitor performance and implement improvements. Ensure quality of products. Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity. Manage maintenance of equipment and machinery. Provide technical support where necessary.Minimum Requirements:Grade 12A good understanding of the businessMake and maintain good customer and people relationshipsMust be able to plan and schedule their own work and employees workMust have 5 - 10 years in a retail / operations environmentRelevant system knowledge
