Job Title Maintenance Supervisor (LOBP) Department Engineering and Maintenance Location - Country South Africa Location - Province KwaZulu-Natal Location - Town / City Durban What you’ll be doing To ensure that all assets within the ENGEN LOBP/ZBP are maintained in accordance with the relevant Engen standards, ISO standards, and OHS Act and Construction Regulations, to meet production targets in a safe, responsible and cost effective manner. To ensure the efficient maintenance of equipment in order to minimise work disruption. To provide HSEQ support and assist with the smooth operation of LOBP/ZBP. Exciting challenges you might face in the role Key Responsibilities Establish and manage the LOBP/ZBP Asset Maintenance Programme Effectively utilise the resources necessary for the maintenance activities Project & Engineering Interface management HSEQ management standards Financial Management & Administration Staff management and mentoring of personnel Deputy Rule In the event of the supervisor absence for any reason, the Senior Artisan/Technician also assume his/her responsibilities temporarily. HSEQ PSM Implemented to Petronas standards Zero injuries and HSE incidents Legal compliance Asset Integrity Quality Assurance Incident investigation and close out STOP champion Specific Outcomes Maintenance programmes developed Routine inspection schedules in place Developed procedures and work instructions Realistic and executable maintenance plan is developed Executed maintenance plan Workflow processed developed Backlog management of faults Productivity targets are met Quality Control Input into LOBP/ZBP Capex budget Managed maintenance & project interfaces during projects Quality Control Prepare and manage LOBP/ZBP Maintenance budget Prepare maintenance Capex budget Procedures filed on iZone SAP preventative maintenance fully operational Audit management Reports Database Prepare Scope of Work for Contracts Performance management Competent well motivated personnel Contractor management What you’ll have done before Working knowledge of planning and scheduling. Working knowledge of engineering drawings Sound knowledge of maintenance procedures, mechanical equipment and practices Good knowledge of maintenance work flow processes Good knowledge of process interfaces with Engineering Mechanical knowledge of LOBP/ZBP equipment and its application Quality Control Systems for construction work Good knowledge of equipment inspection techniques, pressure testing procedures, tank maintenance, piping systems Basic knowledge of the OSHAct. Working knowledge of SAP R3 Good knowledge of contractor and contract management Good Team management skills HSEQ management standards ISO standards HSEQ management standards OSH Act Engen standards Ability to motivate team Computer literate Leadership skills Staff development skills. Planning & scheduling Communication – written/verbal Negotiation skills Who you are Minimum Matric, Grade 12 N6/NDip Electrical or Mechanical or Five years of experience in similar role and manufacturing operations.
