As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance plans for equipment and facilities in the metal industry. This includes scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring the availability of necessary resources, and monitoring the effectiveness of maintenance programs. Responsibilities Develop and implement maintenance plans for equipment and facilities in the metal industry. Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, taking into account equipment availability and production requirements. Ensure the availability of necessary resources, including spare parts and materials, for maintenance tasks. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance programs and make improvements as necessary. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as maintenance technicians and production teams, to optimize maintenance processes. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history. Comply with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance work. Requirements Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner in the metal industry or a similar field. Strong knowledge of maintenance planning principles and practices. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations. Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
