The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Execute regular building site visits and provide feedback to Management.Prepare project documentation which includes generating a comprehensive scope of works and drawings/sketches where needed and sourcing quotes.Adjudication of quotes and preparation of approval documents for property management.Regular site inspections of ongoing projects ensuring scope of work, CPA quality and safety standards are being adhered to.Project tracking and provide updates on MDA and SharePoint systemsContractor coordination on multi disciple projectsSign off on invoices on completed works.Problem identification & problem solvingConduct regular building condition assessments and proactively recommend maintenance interventionsPrepare accurate estimates for maintenance budgetsFacilitate site meetings with built environment professionals when requiredOccasionally interact with city councils regarding approval of relevant changes.Contractor performance coaching when required.Liaison between various internal departments where project responsibilities overlap.
Post school qualification in built environmentExtensive knowledge of the technical aspects of the build environment required.10-15 years’ experience required.Skills & Knowledge Required:MS Office:MS Word – IntermediateMS Excel – IntermediateMS PowerPoint – IntermediateIntermediate knowledge of AutoCADExtensive knowledge of building components.Electrical installations, electrical motors, generators, and pumps.Wet-services, plumbing and storm-water.HVAC, elevators, escalators, and heat-pumpProfessional Body Registration, e.g. SAIAT, SA.CAP, ECSA, SAIOSH, etc. - preferred.Any other voluntary associations in the Built Environment.
