This individual will play a key role in supporting mergers and acquisitions activities, from market analysis and deal sourcing to financial modeling and transaction execution. With a strong background in statistics, engineering, or IT, the ideal candidate will bring a unique perspective to the team, aiding in data-driven decision-making and strategic growth initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth industry research, market assessments, and competitive analysesSupport deal origination and assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing M&A transactionsDevelop and review financial models, including cash flow projections, valuations, and sensitivity analysesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights to support business decisionsPrepare comprehensive investment proposals, presentations, and due diligence documentationMaintain knowledge of industry trends and regulatory developments affecting transactionsQualifications:5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally within M&A, Corporate Finance, or Investment BankingStrong financial acumen with a demonstrated track record in financial modeling and valuation analysisIf not a CA(SA), must possess a Masters Degree, FMVA, or CFA certificationExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentPreferred Skills:Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and valuation methodologiesProficiency in relevant analytical tools and softwareStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team
