Loss Adjuster

Skills and Experience: Engineering qualification (mechanical or electrical). Minimum 3 years work experience in the engineering field. On site experience is a MUST. The ability to understand complex circumstances and then be able to report them concisely. Sound computer, written, and numerical skills. Insurance loss adjusting experience will be advantageous but is not mandatory. Willing to go for training at the Johannesburg branch. Key Responsibilities: Providing exceptional levels of service to our clients and their customers. Proactively manage a file load, meet individual performance targets and deliver a high standard of work. Investigate and report on the facts of incidents giving rise to insurance claims. Gathering and preserving evidence. Establish the cause of loss. Quantifying the nature and extent of damage. Determining policy liability and providing recommendations to clients. Contributing to the further growth and success of the branch. Attributes: Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills. Analytical skills. Good negotiation skills.
