Overview Logistics ManagerHire Resolve is working with a leading food manufacturing company based in the Western Cape, which is seeking a Logistics Manager to join their team in Cape Town. As the Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the logistics operations of the company.Responsibilities: Collaborating with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure seamless delivery of goodsOverseeing the transportation of goods from one location to anotherManaging budgets and allocating resources for transport and logisticsResearching and implementing efficient shipping techniques, routing, and carriersEnsuring compliance with local and international transportation laws and regulationsManage day-to-day logistics activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability and cost effectiveness of the organization's supply chain.Direct the movement, storage, and processing of inventory to ensure a cost-effective flow of activitiesExamine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet customer needs Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain, Operations, or relevant fieldProven working experience as a Logistics Manager, preferably in the food manufacturing industryIn-depth knowledge of logistics and inventory managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
