Logistics CoordinatorClosing Date : 2025-02-24 Closed : No Description: Our client, a leading wine company based in Observatory, Cape Town, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee the efficient movement of goods, services, and materials within the supply chain.
The ideal candidate has logistics and export experience in the wine industry, with strong coordination and administrative skills to ensure timely deliveries, cost optimisation, and seamless communication between stakeholders.
The incumbent should be organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, liaise with internal and external partners, and maintain accurate records.
Key responsibilities: Oversee logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.Coordinate transportation, inventory, and communication between suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, and customers.Process and manage orders, including pro forma invoicing, payments, and order tracking.Support export administration, including shipping instructions, export certificates, and compliance documentation.Maintain accurate records and facilitate inventory coordination with third-party logistics providers (3PLs).All other general and administrative tasks relevant to the position.Essential qualifications, skills and experience: Matric required;3-5 years' experience in a logistics and/or export role in the wine industry;Experience with handling export documentation and compliance processes;Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office);Driver's license and own reliable transport.Please apply online at before 09:00 on 24 February 2025.
