The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations / Logistics Manager.Note: Own transport and normal working hours are required.Key Performance Areas:Fully bilingual in English and AfrikaansMicrosoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)Basic accounting skillsLogistics Degree / Diploma or previous experience in the Import / Export industry is preferred but not essentialResponsibilities:Receiving Customer OrdersPlacing production orders with our factoryPlacing orders with international suppliersLiaising with clearing agents, warehouses, and transportersMaking bookings with shipping linesKeeping stock sheets updatedProviding regular updates to management regarding shipment ETA'sInvoicing customersChecking supplier invoicesGeneral admin tasks around the officeCompetencies:Be enthusiastic, positive, and self-energizedShipping / Air Freight ExperienceHigh attention to detailGood communication skillsA problem solverA team playerWork well under pressure
