We're looking for a Logistics Assistant to join our amazing team!
This role is all about ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly, managing documentation, and helping us navigate the complex world of imports and shipping.
You'll be the wizard behind the scenes making sure our tech goodies arrive safely and efficiently to delight our customers.
Your day-to-day responsibilities would include: - Managing Import/Export Documentation: Handle and verify shipping documents (Proforma Invoices, Commercial Invoices, etc.)
with laser-sharp attention to detail.
- Tracking Shipments: Monitor shipments, update delivery schedules, and keep our systems current.
You'll be our logistics whiz!
- Maintaining meticulous records of procurement activities, inventory levels, and supplier information.
- Customs Clearance: Become our go-to expert for customs processes, ensuring smooth and compliant imports.
- Reporting & Problem-Solving: Provide daily updates, maintain stock-in-transit reports, and jump in to resolve any hiccups in the supply chain.
- Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts with forwarders and carriers, schedule payments, and keep our financial tracking systems in tip-top shape.
- Liaising & Coordination: Work closely with forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams to keep everything running smoothly.
- Data Management: Update databases, work with Excel and Google Sheets, and help generate reports and analytics.
You'll also help us streamline and automate logistics processes..

We're specifically looking for somebody who: - Organised & Detail-Oriented: You notice when something's a millimetre out of place.
You're proficient with MS Office (especially Excel) and love diving into data to find solutions.
- Proactive & Eager to Learn: You bring a can-do attitude, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are always looking for ways to improve.
- Possesses a proactive, can-do attitude and a real hunger to learn and grow.
- Data Savvy: Comfortable with spreadsheets and meticulous about record-keeping.
You spot potential issues before they become problems and are resourceful when challenges arise.
- Experience is a Bonus: Prior experience with customs documentation, shipping, or import/export processes is fantastic, but not essential.
If you're a quick learner with the right attitude, we'll teach you the rest.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance for tech imports is a plus.

The salary bracket for this position ranges from R14,000 to R17,000 based on experience and expertise within this field.
