About the Role:The live-in superintendent will oversee the daily running of the 27-bed residence, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for female students.
This is a full-time, live-in position ideal for someone nurturing, organized, and hands-on.Requirements:Experience in property, hospitality, or student residence management is an advantage.Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.Must live on-site and hold a valid PDP licence.South African ID or valid work permit required.Police clearance and medical check may be requested.Key Responsibilities (Summary):Manage day-to-day operations, cleanliness, and maintenance of the residence.Provide first-line support to students, promote a positive community, and enforce house rules.Supervise cleaning staff and assist with scheduling and supply needs.Handle room check-ins/outs, keep basic records, and report maintenance issues.Drive students to and from campus using the hostel shuttle (PDP licence required).Be available after hours for emergencies and maintain ongoing communication with management.Benefits:Free on-site accommodation including Wi-Fi, water, and electricity.Airtime provided.Opportunity to make a positive impact in a student-focused environment.
