PB Liquor Merchants has an exciting opportunity available for an individual with excellent persuasive communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a matrix reporting structure to join their team based in Gauteng.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting liquor products with customers and supporting the supply and distribution of products to grow the customer base and increase wine sales in the West Rand/Northern Suburbs of Gauteng.
Duties will include:Market developmentPlan sales calls, routes, and servicing cycles to meet with customers and promote productsCustomer relationship managementMonitor & analyze sales performance to identify performance trends and draw conclusions regarding resultsReport on results of campaigns, incentive programmes, and sales performance to suppliers, sales management, and customers and provide recommendations for improvementMonitor, evaluate, plan, and control stock levels in the warehouseProvide input to problem solving in the supply and distribution chainAll other duties related to the roleEssential qualifications, skills, and experience:Matric, a relevant tertiary qualification will be to the candidate's advantage3-5 years' experience in liquor sales in both the On and/or Off consumption market, including experience in stock planning and controlKnowledge of wine, beer, and spirits categories and consumption preferencesProven track record in meeting customer growth and product sales targetsExcellent computer literacy (MS Office)Drivers license and own reliable transportMust be able to work flexible working hoursWillingness to travel and work overtime and weekends when required Please apply online at before 09:00 on 2 September 2022.
