· Executethe normal day-to-day demands of facilitation in accordance with the learningoutcomes as set for the SAE programme, with a focus on practical application,theoretical frameworks, workflow and technique.

· Mentorstudents, conduct consultations and facilitate learning opportunities.

· Researchrelevant content in order to develop learning material and lesson plans.

· Evaluation,moderation, invigilation and assessment of learning.

· Keepaccurate records of evidence.

· Adhereto SAE policies and procedures.

· Otherrelated tasks as assigned by the HOA.

· Experiencein the field of animation of a minimum of 2 years preferred.

· Experiencein classroom management and workshop facilitation skills in an academic ortraining environment of a minimum of 2 years preferred.

· Strongknowledge of research and critical thinking practices

· Knowledgeof the animation and film industry (e.g. producing, business, marketing andpipeline) preferred

· Skillsin the areas of visual storytelling, screenwriting, storyboarding, assetcreation, concept art and/or motion graphics preferred

· Musthave a body of work that demonstrates competency in animation.

· Collaborativeand willing to work with fellow lecturers and the HOA to support students.

Bonus Skills: · 2D animationskills

· Relevantanimation software experience (preferably Adobe software suite, particularlyPhotoshop and After Effect and possibly Adobe Animate (or similar 2D animationsoftware) and Toonboom Harmony is an advantage.
