The Sanlam Life and Savings Office provides strategic direction, coordination and support to these clusters, as well as performing governance oversight that includes assurance provided by second line of defense functions in SLS, to enable us to meet our business objectives.What will you do?This role is responsible for administrative and technology support to the Learning and Development team and clients.Source information for monitoring and/or reporting information related to the Learning and Development function.Maintaining learning programme records for analytics and reporting.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to assist with enquiries and responses.Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to co-ordinate learning and development programmes including:INSETA and other SETA discretionary funded programmesTimeous escalation of outstanding documentation and funding disbursement.Uploading of supporting and audit documentsProduce invoices and manage payment to both external and internal stakeholdersTrack payment advice notifications from Sanlam banking and allocate to correct cost centres.Collating of progress, closure and termination reports as per INSETA requirements.Funding and stipend re-imbursement to correct client.Tracking of received funding for budget reporting as well as monitoring liabilities relating to budget processes.Plan and prioritise to meet commitments aligned with Learning and Development administrative and technology support key deliverables.Provide administrative support for Learning and Development programmes including recording of learning interventions and cost capturing as per Learning Management System.Project / Event administration and co-ordination of learning events.What will make you successful in this role?Role Requirements:Qualifications:Grade 12Diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources.Experience:3-5 years' experience in Project or Learning and Development Administration.Experience in creating and maintaining Learning and Development records, as well as records for reporting and referencing.Experience working with administration systems and processes including discretionary grants application and allocation practices (Learnerships, Internships, Bursary, Skills programmes and other related skills development initiatives).Experience with finance systems in issuing and paying of invoices, as well as journalising financial transactions.Experience in training technologies, Success factors Learning module (myWorkSpace) will be an advantage.Knowledge:HR Learning and Development practices, principles and training technology.Working knowledge of Learning Technology tools and solutions budget planning, monitoring, reporting and payments.Knowledge of legislation that influences Learning and Development (Skills Development, BBBEE Act).Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and strong Excel skills.Cultivates innovation.Communicates effectively (written and verbal).Drives results.Analytical thinking.Plans and aligns.Action-oriented.Personal AttributesInterpersonal savvy - Contributing independently.Decision quality - Contributing independently.Action orientated - Contributing independently.Optimises work processes - Contributing independently.Turnaround timeThe shortlisting process will only start once the application due date has been reached.
