Lead Planning Analyst Faithful to Nature · Cape Town, Western Cape Faithful to Nature is a market leader in the online natural product retail space with the mission of improving the health of our customers and our planet. We’re home to analysts, creatives, activists and innovators. We believe in doing things differently and are busy pioneering the natural health wellness industry. From our humble beginnings, we’ve grown to service thousands of loyal customers across South Africa, we’re now a late-stage startup looking to scale our business and stamp our mark on South Africa’s retail sector. We are seeking a Lead Planning Analyst to join our Buying Department, to head up our daily, weekly and monthly demand forecasting, planning and purchasing. You will use historic demand as well as our promotional calendar, in order to forecast expected demand for products, taking into account targeted fill rates, supplier lead times and reliability, and use this to produce purchase orders to be sent to our suppliers (both local and international). Critical to the role will be using our demand planning tool and associated BI reporting. You will also work closely with our warehouse supply chain and physical retail stores, to assist with stock accuracy and rapid replenishment. The ideal candidate is highly data-driven, and comfortable working with tools that use statical and machine learning approaches to forecast demand. You should have great attention to detail, and a hunger to build an efficient system that keeps product in stock while minimising unnecessary purchasing. This is a great role for a data analyst with interest in retail planning, or vice versa. The role reports to the head of buying, with close interaction with our data and tech teams. This is an opportunity to make a mark in a company that is small enough to be nimble, and big enough to have a real impact. As an entrepreneurial leader, collaborate with colleagues in other Silvertree portfolio companies such as UCOOK, PetHeaven, PriceCheck, SKOON.
